We are officially the FIRST business to do Archery & Axe Throwing inside yorkbarbican 🏹 Now there’s a sentence we never thought we’d say! 😆

On Wednesday night we were part of the big #boxxe event organised by socialsbyvsm and we set up in the Exhibition Hall to run the activities. Everyone had the best time, especially when they found out there was an iPad up for grabs!

What a night! 🎉 ...

Last year we had the pleasure of working with #boxxe and providing a couple of our walls for their event at yorkbarbican - this year our sister company socialsbyvsm planned the entire event which meant we were able to style the whole show! 😍

The theme was a Spring Garden Party so we styled the registration desk with our BRAND NEW Spring Wall (more on this wall later!) and the main bar area had a garden themed brand board.

In the auditorium, we styled the STAGE (🤯) with seasonal flowers and trees to frame the huge screen!

We styled fizzicalbartending ‘s cocktail bar with our Silver Sequin Wall and our Penny Pink Wall.

We created a 9ft #boxxe brand board and provided branding throughout the event, including up-lighting from eventprophire ✨

We of course had our huge Garden Wall which was a hit with the selfies and to finish the event off we provided jugs of fresh flowers, potted plants and tall flower displays around the room 🌼

It was a BEAST to set up but we’re so pleased with the finished look and everyone loved the decor!

One of my proudest moments 💫

Over the last 6 months I’ve been working so hard behind the scenes fully planning this immense event at yorkbarbican with Boxxe followed by a wellness element the following day.

The event was to celebrate boxxe’s acquisition of Total Computers, making them one of the UK’s largest providers of software solutions - and I got to plan the event!

With 450 delegates to look after, 300 bedrooms across York, coach transfers, shuttle buses, AV support, team building, music, event styling, delegate registration, catering, wellness, logistics, and sourcing a 9ft 6 life size Goliath with 2 weeks notice, I’m BEYOND proud to say the entire event was a huge success.

This was a real pinch-me moment and I’m forever grateful to those who put their faith in me and VSM Consultancy.

A massive thank you to my amazing friends and family who supported with the event - I couldn’t have done it without you! 💕
